The Platform Strategy Advisor is a key lead in the DPE team.
The PSA engages senior business and technical decision makers at customers and partners in order to articulate the business value of the Microsoft platform, jointly develop customer-specific value propositions, identify opportunities, and drive pilot projects that utilize key innovative technologies and creates new business value for the customer/partner.
The mission of the PSA is to demonstrate the business value of new innovative Microsoft platform technologies, driving early adoption and creating the first reference cases leading to impactful evidence that accelerate mainstream adoption of technology whether it be S+S, client, server, or web.
Current focus technologies include: the Microsoft .NET Framework, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008/R2, Office 2010, Silverlight, and Visual Studio developer tools.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of related experience
- Experience with development projects, lead in development team
- Line of business management experience or similar would be a great benefit.
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree (B.S/B.A). MBA Preferred. Field of Study: Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- Passion for technology
- Great communication and presentation skills.
- Deep technical skills.
- Ability to build partnership and trust with people of different mindset.
